Make the most of your day, Everyday.

Waking up early is the best thing I've ever done to get me closer to a better me. If you make A to do list and leave it until when you get out of work or after school life gets in the way. Tired takes over the brain willpower is out the door or on the couch.

When you get home your significant other will want some of your energy and attention, your child or pet needs some love and if you're single you're couch and TV would love some of your available attention. It's amazing how many to do lists keep getting pushed to the wayside or between the couch cushions.

The blog was almost not written today because after a long day of driving I wanted to take a nap. Instead I got in my chair did some box breathing and now I am focused.

Going to bed the night before early is key to making the next morning successful. What I do the night before I will share with you on a later post. Phone is charging and not looked at from 7:00 o'clock on. I try to do an ice-cold shower and read 30 minutes before eyes shut and that is at 9:30pm. When I do that getting out of bed the next morning is much easier.

Many successful people wake up around 4:00 or 5:00 AM it's great because no one is demanding your attention except you and your goals.

My routine is simple and because I do it every day its habit and I don't have to think about it.

Wake up (no snooze) don't lay in bed because your mind will come up good reasons not to get out of bed. DON’T LOOK AT YOUR PHONE because before you know it it’s time for work. Run or workout clothes, headphones, towel and water are all ready to go. Meditation, may I suggest start with 10 minutes increase your time as you go. Gratitude, I write down three things I'm grateful for. Read and visualize goals act as if they have happened already. Knockout To Do List (Tim Ferris suggests lead domino) what can I do first to set up the next thing and so on. If you can't choose what to do first do the most difficult get that out of the way.

From the time you wake up until you get your To Do List done then and only then can you look at your phone. If you look at your phone first thing a text, post on social media or news feed can derail you from going after what's most important to you which is you.

Stay genuine!
